Moments in this journey the deep pang of sorrow has pierced my soul and I’ve felt my heart drown in a flood of tears.
In moments of weariness I cling to scripture. Psalm 56:8 has become the verse I’ve clung to. One evening when in reflection I reached out to my oh so talented friend, Jennifer at Blue Plume Studio. I sent her this verse and gave her creative freedom to paint me something beautiful. Last week I got to pick it up and I LOVE it. It’s beautiful and speaks to my soul.
Each morning when I arise I see it. I pause. I remember. I reflect. I am filled with hope.
He’s not forgotten about me. He sees every single tear drop I’ve shed. They are stored in a bottle.
Though I can’t see the end of this story, my sorrows and tears aren’t in vain.
I look forward to one day standing on the other side of sorrow’s shores and proclaiming victory.
Until then, with tears and sorrow, I continue to hope, believe, and expect miracles because HE is able.
Psalm 56:8 (NLT)
You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
