I fall undone

**I wanted to give a brief explanation to how I choose to blog. Many of the times what I write and choose to share here on the blog isn’t always current, as in, I wrote this today.  It often is writings I have written in the moment of my life, then I give it time to settle, and over time I choose to share pieces of my journey with you on the blog. Please know, I am not wallowing in a puddle of tears today, I was at one point in the previous weeks. But today, I am strong. No need to worry. xoxo Katie**

————————————————————————————————————————————————-

My heart is swirling in the loss and sorrows– yet your light burns within bringing a burst of hope into the midnight hours of my weariness.

I find myself in deep reflection, pondering, bringing all my questions before you

But I don’t question your goodness or your love in all this, yet darkness keeps pressing in, trying to flood out the hope I cling too.

I am desperate, outstretched I lay before you

Emptied before you I sing out for reprieve

Finding ways to worship you through the faucet of tears that find me

Your love, rich in mercy pours upon a tired daughter

I can’t help but stand in awe of my Creator

In His intimately detailed designs of life my soul stirs, and bids me come near

I may be empty, yet he has filled with hope

I may feel weak, yet I am strong

I may feel confused, yet peace sings quiet over my chaos

I may feel the tidal wave of fear rising, yet I am brave before the King of Kings

I may have many questions, but I have the answer in Jesus

I may get discouraged, but the sweet taste of His joy fills me

I may struggle with the weight of depression, yet I am renewed day by day

I fall undone before my Maker

Your love is written over my life by the very breath of your Spirit you exhaled into my soul
