Part 1: Why Florida | The Battlefield

Part 1: Why Florida?

September 15, 2020 | Day 9 of 21 days of Prayer. We were nine days into our 21 days of Prayer at Church, driving to church early those mornings the world felt different. Coming out of a summer of chaos in our nation, knowing the elections were upon us, the Nation felt fragile. There was a shift taking place spiritually and I wanted to be found in the presence of God every one of those 21 days of Prayer.

On the ninth day, I remember being in prayer this specific morning and God’s presence felt so close…The Holy Spirit was moving and God gave me a vision with such clarity and conviction, it sent goosebumps down my arms. It started with a line drawn in the ground.  I saw a line in a field and the field was a battlefield, war was happening all around. I heard the Lord firmly declare, “GO TO THE FRONT.” Over and over the Lord was firmly telling me to stand at the front of the battle and take people with me,  together we were going TAKE THE HEAT. I then heard, “armor up, go STAND and FIGHT for my people.” There was an urgency in these words the Lord was speaking.

A few weeks later we as the Church did another 10 days of prayer leading up to the election. I was in prayer when once again this same vision comes with such clarity but this time I see more. I see the battlefield, I see a line in that field but when I lifted my head up and my eyes gazed over across the line I saw thousands upon thousands of people running towards me, towards the line I was positioned at. These people were hemorrhaging hurting people and God asked me to pull the bleeding people over the line, they were BEGGING for us to grab them. They just kept coming, they wanted out, they wanted help but they needed some assistance to be pulled over the line to the other side. As we were pulling them over they were going from dark to light.  These faces are seared in my soul, I saw their eyes, their tears, bruised bodies, panic, and desperation. They desperately wanted over, they wanted freedom, love and safety. I didn’t have to convince them to come, they were coming home as fast as they could.

I went home that day knowing I was marked and called to pray specifically. It shook my soul, so I began praying faithfully, “where is the front Lord? How do I get to the frontlines? Where is this battle line at? Where do you want me positioned in the days ahead?”

This vision sparked a journey that would unfold in the months ahead….

“Through faith’s power they conquered kingdoms and established true justice. Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality! It was faith that shut the mouth of lions,  put out the power of raging fire, and caused many to escape certain death by the sword. Although weak, their faith imparted power to make them strong! Faith sparked courage within them and they became mighty warriors in battle, pulling armies from another realm into battle array.”  – Hebrews 11:33-34

I’ve got chills reading this! God is on the move and stirring so many of us right now. I resonated with this deeply. At church this past Sunday, I had 3 different people approach me. The first one with a prophetic word, “God is going to heal you.” The second person said, “God pointed you out to me and called you a new name, beautiful warrior.” The third came and was called to pray over me and anything that was hindering me.” I had stopped asking God for healing long ago. Believing this is the life he has called me to and believed it was to know and serve others like me who go unseen and unheard. It has been so fulfilling as I have leaned into this. Yet, Sunday I clearly heard, saw, and felt him reminding me there is even more to this story. The healing isn’t needed for me personally, but rather the people around me that He wants to reach through me. Two words were impressed on my heart. They have followed me throughout my existence on this earth and he the work is just beginning. They are hope and justice. I’m praying for you all as you step to the front lines. I am praying for the people that you will bring across that line. I’ll continue to watch and be encouraged as he unfolds his plans for me to join in bringing hope and justice to His children. I love you friend! 💗
